Abstract:

Neglecting and ignorance of citizenship rights by the socio-political system is one of the soft war manifestations against the Islamic Revolution of Iran in recent decades. Accordingly, to defend and introduce the original Islamic thought in the field of citizenship rights, the present study aimed to explain the position of this concept and its derived components by examining the principles and perspectives related to citizenship rights in the Islamic Revolution foundations. To this aim, used library and descriptive method and discourse analysis of Laclau and Mouffe using Quranic verses and critical legal documents of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Then, the symbols of Islamic discourse on citizenship rights were extracted, and objective examples were studied in important legal documents of the republic. Citizenship rights in Islamic discourse are based on the semantic system from the central symbol of purified life and the signs of the principles of dignity, security, freedom and the executive guarantee of citizenship rights. Evaluating the status of citizenship rights in the social and political context of post-revolutionary Iran indicates that the Islamic Revolution discourse has a strong potential for fulfilling citizenship rights. The constitution addresses citizenship rights in various dimensions, including public-private security, judicial law, liberty rights in multiple sizes, participant rights in the administration of national affairs, economic, social and cultural rights, and the rights of vulnerable groups. The implementing citizenship rights specified in this law are guaranteed in parts of the Islamic Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.

Abstract:

Authority as a necessary and vital doctrine for the birth and survival of a state is an understanding that has faced different readings in each of the "pre-modern", "modern" and "post-modern" discourses and judgment platforms. Basically, the question of authority, in terms of what kind of power has the right to command the people and the role of the people in granting and delegitimizing the power contained in an individual or institution, is a question that formulates the basis of public law. This article aims to analyze authority with an analytical and ultimately normative thinking, and in the depth of expressing the differences between authority in each of the discourses, achieve a new model for rethinking about authority. Finally, the present article defends this idea and theory that instead of discursive analysis, verbal analysis of authority, it is desirable to include Benbadin justifications for the legitimacy of power while guaranteeing democratic rights and freedoms.

Abstract:

Radial meaning is a set of lateral lines including meaning shades which are the outcome of context-dependent elements as well as expressive perceptions in an applicable context. The study of context-dependent elements in the Holy Quran in the two intra-textual and extra-textual structures has provided us with radial as well as meta-situational meanings, opening a new way toward the literary miracle of Quran. Hence, the present article aims to imply the effective role of radial meanings in making the Koranic text responsible for affecting the body and soul of readers as well as the better understanding of the intentions of its signs by the use of semantics and descriptive-analytic method. It also aims to answer such an important question: what kind of context-dependent elements do the radial meanings of Quran do produce? Studies showed that anomaly mechanisms, word order, the compatibility of voiced and voiceless sounds, repetition, metaphor as well as synecdoche as the most important context-dependent elements play a role in producing radial meanings. Likewise, in non-linguistic contexts, observing theological and psychological situations as well as social tableaus has created some prominent radial meanings.

Abstract:

Ebrahim Hatamikia’ s films represent Iran’ s sociopolitical problems and reflect the government approach toward internal and external affairs. Despite the credibility of his movies, they have not been studied by their position vis-à-vis various political groups and events. This article is designed to offer a study the first long feature film, i. e., the Identity (1985) made by Hatamikia. We launched such research to discover where the movie and its text stand between rival discourses in the period of its production. Theoretical background 1. Representation Theory: Representation is concerned with what the media portray, how topics are presented, the modes of discourse at work, and the character of debates and discussion. The dimension of representation in the public sphere points to such basic questions as what should be selected for portrayal and how should it be presented (Dahlgren, 1995: 15). The concept of ‘ representation’ is central to the study of all media forms. We think "representation" has close links to issues of depicting reality. In other words, much media texts (drama, for instance) set out to be ‘ realistic. ’ It is possible to understand the term ‘ representation’ in several ways. First, ‘ to represent’ can mean ‘ to present or depict something. ’ In essence, what we see can never provide the viewer with simple, unmediated access to the ‘ real world. ’ No matter how ‘ realistic’ the presentation might be, it is a construction, involving decisions about where to place the camera, how to edit the material, and so on. A second way in which the term ‘ representation’ appears where one might talk of a statesperson or politician as a ‘ representative’ of the people. Accordingly, media images can be seen to represent or ‘ stand-in for’ us, the consumers (Casey et al. 2008: 234-235). Three approaches explain how language is structured to work as a representational system. One approach is that language is reflective, and it simply reflects or resembles a meaning that exists in the world. A second approach to language is the intentional one and is based on the notion that any act of communication conveys precisely what the communicator intended. A third approach is a constructionist approach to language, and this encompasses the notion that meaning is not reflected or imposed, but constructed (Webb, 2008: 43-44). Critical Discourse Analysis: The earliest ambition of discourse analysis was to describe sentences and to gain autonomy for itself as a ‘ scientific’ area of academic study. Under the heading of discourse, studies of language have come to be concerned with far wider issues. Discourse linguists analyze, for example, the structure of conversations, stories and various forms of written text, the subtleties of implied meanings, and how language in the form of speech interacts with non-linguistic (e. g., visual or spatial) communication. Under the headings of cohesion and coherence, they study how one communicative act depends on previous acts, and how people creatively interact in the task of making and inferring meaning (Jaworski and Coupland, 1999: 4) Calling the approach 'critical' is a recognition that our social practice in general and our use of language, in particular, are bound up with causes and effects which we may not be at all aware of under normal conditions Specifically, connections between the use of language and the exercise of power are often not clear to people. The normal opacity of these practices to those involved in them-the invisibility of their ideological assumptions, and of the power relations which underlie the practices-helps to sustain these power relations (Fairclough, 1995: 54). Research procedure: This research is conducted by leveraging Fairclough’ s framework for Critical Discourse Analysis because with the help of this method we can go beyond the text and represented discourses and examine the social context in which this text was produced. The social conditions which we study can be specified as social conditions of production, and social conditions of interpretation. These social conditions shape the MR people bring to production and interpretation, which in turn shape how texts are produced and interpreted. So, in seeing language as discourse and as social practice, one is committing oneself to analyze the relationship between texts, processes, and their social conditions (Fairclough, 2001: 20-21). Corresponding to these three dimensions of discourse, Fairclough distinguishes three dimensions, or stages, of critical discourse analysis: • The description is the stage which is concerned with formal properties of the text (Fairclough, 2001: 21) And the extraction of the experiential, relational and expressive values, which refer to a representation of the natural world, social relationships and the producer’ s evaluation of a bit of the reality (Fairclough, 2001: 92-93). • Interpretation is concerned with the relationship between text and interaction-with seeing the text as the product of a process of production, and as a resource in the process of interpretation (Fairclough, 2001: 21). Conclusion: The above analysis on the movie "Hoviyat" proves that the political circumstances make their mark on such text. These circumstances were the case during the external war and internal conflicts, and At some points, its positioning is clear such as when it represents the Iraq-imposed war on Iran which was marked as the battle of Islam and infidelity. Or when the picture of Ayatollah Khomeini appears nest to Quran representing a holy object. But its favoritism does not limit to the obvious elements and by emphasizing on the ideological connection between the revolution, the war, Ayatollah Khomeini and Islamic values, stands against secular approaches or other approaches which oppose Ayatollah Khomeini. Further, in the study, we found out that the film as takes a side in favor of “ The Islamic Republic Party, ” it supports “ The Traditional Left Wing” over “ The Traditional Right” and the latter’ s emphasis on acting in the framework of religious laws rather than pursuing the public welfare.

Abstract:

In light of the Bakhtinian heteroglossia and authorial hybrid construction, the present study sets out to argue how the assimilation of alien stylistics into the realm of social and ideological discourse may transcend the limits of the centralizing logos prevalent in the orthodox poetics. In so doing, first, an analysis of the Bakhtinian concepts is provided to renegotiate his argument on the aesthetic and rhetorical capacities of the prose fiction vis-à-vis the totalitarian poetic discourse. Accordingly, as an innovation, this study suggests that the subversive potentiality of a text stems from both its carnivalesque interrelatedness with a dominant culture and its capability to transcend the limits of the said culture and to revitalize its synchronic and diachronic affiliations to other cultures. To confirm this, a good array of examples is drawn from novelistic texts. In Gunter Grass’ s The Tin Drum, the protagonist’ s mocking attitude towards centripetal fatherhood and his going ahead of clock strokes and hence weaving here-and-now to there-and-then so as to claim possession of his once-beloved woman is a significant case in point. Thus, not only can the marginalized utterances deal with patriarchies of the dominant culture, but also they can restructure their independent sphere based on their internal and external exigencies.

Abstract:

Problem Statement: Recent developments in installation art have transformed the concept of space from a mere display backdrop into a dynamic and interactive element. Within this context, Shirin Abedinirad’s works, through the use of mirrors and reflections, propose an innovative approach to redefining space. However, the way these elements influence spatial perception and audience participation has remained underexplored. This study aims to address this research gap by investigating the role of mirrors and reflections in Shirin Abedinirad’s installations and analyzing their impact on the transformation of spatial concepts, audience interaction, and the construction of meaning.Research Objective: The objective of this research is to examine the role of mirrors and reflections in Shirin Abedinirad’s installations and to analyze their effects on redefining spatial concepts, audience engagement, and the formation of meaning. This investigation is grounded in the artistic theories of Kaprow, Licht, Celant, and Johnston, while also considering institutional critiques and the social context of art.Research Method: This study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing upon literature, direct observation, and analysis of selected works by Abedinirad. The theoretical framework draws on the artistic theories of Kaprow, Licht, Celant, and Johnston to explore the interplay between space, light, and mirrors. Additionally, institutional critiques and the social context of art are incorporated into the analysis. Conclusion: The findings reveal that the use of mirrors in these installations not only reconfigures the physical and perceptual boundaries of space but also transforms the audience from passive observers into active participants in the process of interpreting the artwork. Drawing on Kaprow’s theories of audience participation and Licht’s perspectives on spatial dynamism, it is concluded that Abedinirad’s works convert space from a static backdrop into a fluid, multi-layered environment. This characteristic fosters an interactive experience while simultaneously providing a platform for critiquing social and institutional structures.

Abstract:

By changing the role and responsibilities of governments in the postmodern era and empowering a system based on governmentality, a citizenship right was also reconceptualized. Today, with the emergence of the idea of global citizens who have an active role in the field of governance, we are witnessing new instances of fundamental rights and freedoms that were not previously customary. Establishing a good governance system and realizing a platform for active citizenship are the two basic steps in the functioning of post-modern states. The main question posed in the system of current legal thought is the definition of concept of newly emerged citizen right. In this paper, we will prove that the components of good governance in the core discourse of modern citizen rights could be defiened in the context of cosmopolitan system that highlights the citizen's presence in the realm of plural governance including widespread national and international economic, social, political and administrative activity.

Abstract:

A B S T R A C TToday, all officials involved with the challenges of city sustainability have accepted the idea of a smarter city, using more technologies, creating better living conditions and protecting the environment for a better quality of life. The central part of the metropolis of Tabriz is based on Region 8 and part of Region 10, a historical-cultural area with an area of 286 hectares and a population of about 40 thousand people in 8 neighbourhoods. This research was compiled to evaluate and explain the regeneration of the central part of Tabriz city with the approach of smart growth and in line with the sustainable development of problematic neighbourhoods in the 8th district of Tabriz metropolis. The present review is methodologically practical, to describe and analyze the goals of regeneration based on library studies. The statistical population of the research includes experts and people living in the central context. In the first part, the Delphi method was used by asking experts. In the second part, the structural equation method of SPSS and AMOS software is used. According to the results of using the scales of design, pedestrian-oriented, intergenerational justice in the actual situation and 3 indicators of management and productivity, stable and value-creating jobs are in the potential situation. Also, two environmental indicators with the most direct and indirect effects and a cultural index have been decisive in the regeneration with the smart growth approach in the central part of Tabriz city. Therefore, in the regeneration of the central part, the studied indicators should be used simultaneously and integrated into the reconstruction projects of the central fabric of the city to lead to smart sustainabilityExtended AbstractIntroductionSmart growth is considered a lever for revitalizing neighborhoods and urban centers. In a general scenario of smart growth, knowing the time and resources of investment provides a new and sustainable life in the city center and worn-out and old textures. Moreover, finally, it will improve the quality of urban neighborhoods, especially worn-out ones, and revive them. Tabriz metropolis, one of the most important and largest cities in the country, with a long history of settlement, especially the central and old texture, due to developments in information and communication technology, extensive environmental, social, and economic changes in terms of time requirements, the traditional texture of roads, Deterioration of residential units, lack of equipment, infrastructure and urban services and environmental problems have caused the failure and physically turned into inefficient and problematic textures. Urban planning and development science must adopt a new decision and approach to face the existing and complex issues of worn-out texture. The main problem of the research is to evaluate and explain the regeneration of the central texture and strengthen them in line with the sustainable development of the problematic neighborhoods of Tabriz metropolis according to the solutions and principles of smart urban growth. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to answer the following question:- What are the effective indicators and components in the regeneration of the central texture of Tabriz metropolis with a smart growth approach? MethodologyThis research is applied and fundamental in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical. The collection methods are based on documentary and library studies, surveys, and interviews. In the first part, qualitative data was prepared with an open questionnaire and through interviews, as well as the review of documents and quantitative data used in this research numerically and through the weighting of Delphi questionnaires based on the consensus index model to determine importance, certainty, and priority. The panel members were 19 people (including 5 university faculty members, 7 field research experts, 4 executive experts, and 3 graduate students) selected based on the non-probability (targeted) method. In the second part, Cronbach's alpha method was exerted to measure the reliability of the questions, which was obtained as 0.89. In order to evaluate the validity of the questionnaire, the Lawshe method was exploited. The statistical population of the second part includes District 8 of Tabriz, which is the central texture of the city and is equal to 34,231 people. According to Cochran's formula, the sample size was equal to 379 people. Results and discussionIn the next step, path analysis was performed using AMOS 23 software to compare the integrated model with the hypotheses. The results of the path analysis, while verifying the structures, show that the value of the index of the critical ratio to the degree of freedom (CMIN/DF) is equal to 4.01, which is an optimal value for the model fit. Also, the goodness of fit index (GFI) is 0.952, which indicates the acceptability of this amount for the optimal fit of the model. The value of the root means the square error of estimation (RMSEA) is 0.065, which is acceptable because it is smaller than 0.08 and indicates the confirmation of the research model. Also, the Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) is 0.917, the comparative fit index (CFI) is 0.92, and the normalized parsimonious fit index (PNFI) is 0.882, which all indicate that the fit and verification of the research model are desirable. Therefore, none of the objects are removed and remain in the model. Therefore, it is confirmed that the factor structure of regeneration indicators with the smart growth approach has reliability and construct validity. Also, the second-order factor analysis shows that the factor loadings of all regeneration indicators with the smart growth approach are greater than 0.4 and are significant at the 95% probability level. According to the results, the environmental dimension with a factor loading of 0.94 has the most significant effect on urban regeneration with the smart growth approach in the central texture of Tabriz city. After that, quality of life with a factor loading of 0.92, social dimension with a factor loading of 0.88, economic dimension with a factor loading of 0.83, physical dimension with a factor loading of 0.81, transportation dimension with a factor loading of 0.74 and cultural dimension in order with a factor loading of 0.72, are in the following ranks.According to the final structural model results, the environmental index has the highest value, with a direct effect of 0.594 and an indirect effect of 0.275. Moreover, after that, respectively, the quality of life index with a direct effect of 0.513 and an indirect effect of 0.236, a social index with a direct effect of 0.476 and an indirect effect of 0.217, an economic index with a direct effect of 0.451 and an indirect effect of 0.222, Physical with the direct effect of 0.435 and indirect effect of 0.205, mobility index with the direct effect of 0.373 and indirect effect of 0.182 and cultural index with the effect of direct values of 0.295 and indirect effect of 0.153 are influential in regeneration with smart growth approach in the central part of Tabriz city. ConclusionIn this research, seven main indicators related to the subject were investigated. The results showed that the environmental index with the most significant direct and indirect effect is the focus of the evaluation. After that, dimensions and indicators of quality of life, social index, economic index, physical index, mobility index, and cultural index have been influential. According to the results, the urban environment index was analyzed as the most important factor at a high level, and this means that for urban regeneration with a smart growth approach, improving the environmental and physical conditions in the worn-out and central texture of Tabriz city in the current situation is a priority. It is first. This is the most well-known part of regeneration with a smart growth approach. The analysis results show that this is not the case only in the case of transportation infrastructure. However, more comprehensive urban infrastructure such as the urban landscape, open spaces, green and parks, etc. are also crucial in improving the physical conditions of the infrastructure. Also, this study's results show that the economic sector's importance is as important as improving the physical conditions of the infrastructure. In addition, in the worn-out texture of District 8 of Tabriz city, the sociocultural sector is essential, and the revival of historical and cultural resources is considered one of the urban regeneration options. Funding There is no funding support. Authors’ Contribution All of the authors approved the content of the manuscript and agreed on all aspects of the work.  Conflict of Interest Authors declared no conflict of interest. AcknowledgmentsWe are grateful to all the scientific.
